With this post I'm starting a new series on my blog that I'm calling Sunday glimpse.

These are going to be short reviews of the products I'm enjoying at the moment. I'm going to try to cut right to the chase with every single one of these posts, so there is (hopefully) not going to be a lot of jabbering :)! These posts are (for now) also not going to be bi-lingual, because I want them to be as short as possible. Without further ado, here are my thoughts on this foundation!

I've been struggling to find a good foundation lately. I was mostly using Rimmel's wake me up foundation, but after using it for months I just didn't like it as much. I like the formula of it, but I hate how my skin looked in sunlight. I was glistening... and not good glistening! I mean I literally looked like Edward Cullen in the sunlight - sparky!

I know that tiny glitter in there is what make your skin shiny and glowy. But people around me started noticing it and it was quite annoying listening to ˝wow you're really glittery˝. So I just stopped using it and got this one and I loved it sooo much better.

The formula is very similar to Wake me up foundation. It's moisturizing, stays on forever, it blends well and it's not cakey! My skin is quite dry so it's a must for my foundation to be moisturizing. But the best thing about it...it is not sparkly! Don't get me wrong...it still leaves your skin with a glow, just not with that Edward Cullen lumniosity!

I love it...almost as much as the Fit me foundation ;) And Fit me foundation set some pretty high bars for me! ;)

I am so excited to do this post for all of you today!

This post is dedicated to all who are just starting with makeup. The best thing about these products is that they're budget friendly, available in drugstore and actually really good! So let's begin! :)

Glede na to, da se je šolsko leto ponovno začelo, se spodobi da namenim en blog zapis samo vam drage učenke/dijakinje, ki ste se pred kratkim spet vrnile v šolske klopi. Upam, da začetek ni bil pretežak in da ste si med poletjem nabrale novih moči in ogromno energije, da uspešno preživite to šolsko leto :)

V tej objavi bom vsem puncam, ki ste šele dobro vstopile v svet ličenja in morda ne veste kje natanko začeti, dala predloge kateri izdelki na tržišču so najbolj vredni vašega nakupa :)

SKIN

When we start applying makeup on our face, we usually start with face makeup. That means with primer, foundation, skin, powder, blush etc. I didn't want to overreact with 12459 million different products, telling you what all you need. Since you're beginner stick to less is more. I would only start with primer and foundation in case that you're suffering acne skin. If your skin is perfect don't apply foundation and powder on it! Because in 80% you probably don't need it! If you have spot here and there just go ahead and put some concealer on, under your eyes and anywhere you feel like you need it. But don't apply too much!

To make sure that your foundation, concealer and contour won't go anywhere throughout the day.... use a primer! You have to apply primer on your clean skin (right after moisturizer!!!)and then you're ready to apply a foundation. In a picture above I showed you my favourite primer called Magic Primer by W7. It surely does it's job and it's affordable! :)

If you are having problematic skin and you want to wear foundation I am really liking Rimmel's Wake me up foundation.It has a medium coverage and you will look fresh and well rested after application :)

Ko začnemo nanašati ličil, ponavadi začnemo z nanosom podlage. Ker ste še mlade, tekoče podlage in primerja najverjetneje ne boste potrebovale. Sama vam svetujem, da nase nanesete čim manj. Če pa imate problematično kožo, ki vam povzroča akne in bi se rade v svoji koži boljše počutile, pa vam svetujem najprej nanos primerja potem pa še tekoče podlage. Sama imam izredno rada podlago Rimmel Wake me up, ker ni pretirano prikrivna, kožo pa pusti svežo in izboljša njen izgled za 100% :) Za primer sama uporabljam W7 Prime Magic, ta kožo lepo matira in pa seveda podaljša obstojnost makeup-a :)

For those imperfections, spots, dark circles on your skin use a concealer! Stay all day by Essence has been a holy product for me since I was in high school (and that's a long time ago :))!! It blends amazingly, doesn't crease,covers EVERYTHING..ah it's just amazing trust me! :)

Za vse nepravilnosti, mozoljčke, podočnjake ipd. vam res priporočam Stay all day korektor. Sama ga uporabljam že vse od srednje šole in je še vedno eden izmed najboljših Essence produktov. Lepo se nanese, razmaže in zakrije vsako nepravilnost :)

And of course we can't go a day without contouring :)

FaceStudio Master Contour & Highlight V-Shape Duo Stick blends out so well and is super smooth. I normally blend it out using my beauty blender and it looks very natural (so perfect for school!). The bronzer end is the perfect shade, and the highlight is a nice subtle touch to add a bit of glow to the skin. If your going for a bold contour this may not be it, but if you  like natural look this is the product for you!

Seveda ne smemo pozabiti na senčenje obraza. Contouring je pač nujno zlo v zadnjem času. :) Da pa zjutraj ne boš rabila ene ure za nanos ličil, ti naslednji produkt lahko prihrani kar nekaj časa. 

FaceStudio Master Contour & Highlight V-Shape Duo Stick je izredno priročen. Nanos je lahek, sama ga nanesem in nato zabrišem z Beauty Blenderjem, včasih pa kar s prsti :). Na eni strani je bronzer, na drugi pa osvetljevalec. Moram pa poudariti, da s tem produktom ne boš dosegla res močnega (Kim K.;)) contouringa, pač pa čudovit naraven videz! :)

Tip #1: 

If you have oily skin - make sure to set your foundation (and concealer) with a powder (I really like Rimmel's Stay matte!)

Nasvet #1:

Če je tvoja koža zelo mastna, po nanosu tekoče podlage in korektorja nanesi še puder v kamnu ali prahu (Meni je res super Rimmel Stay matte)!

BROW game!

Maybelline Brow Satin Eyebrow Pencil is fast go to perfect eyebrows in the morning. The pencil itself is very precise and waxy. I use it to lightly draw in my brows. I then use the powder side to soften the look, and get a gorgeous natural look.

Then I like to finish my brow routine with Brow drama in Transparent (for more definition use it in color). It's basically eyebrow mascara that leaves your eyebrows looking natural and makes your brows to stay in place! Yup no more crazy brows with this baby :)

Da bodo tvoje obrvi popolne je na tržišču 1001 izdelek :) Sama v zadnjem času uporabljam Maybellinov Brow Satin Eyebrow Pencil, ki je super za obrobo obrvi, ker je res tanek in lahko obvladljiv. Na eni strani se nahaja tanek svinčnik (za doris obrvi, obrobo itd.), na drugi pa aplikator s senčilom.

Po tem sama skoraj vedno posežem še po Maybellinovi Brow drami, ki poskrbi da moje obrvi, tekom dneva, ostanejo na mestu :) Sama jo imam v barvi Transparent, obstajajo pa seveda tudi barvne verzije!

Tip #2: I also really like Make me brow by Essence a lot! And it's a little bit cheaper :)

Nasvet #2: Všeč mi je tudi Essencov Make me brow! Poleg tega pa je še malce cenejši! :) 

EYES

I am so excited to finally include this palette in one of my blogs. This is Maybelline's Blushed nudes palette and it got so many negative reviews. I honestly can say that it is one of my most used palette since I got it. I love it! I really like the various colors, the colors are very blendable and most certainly I don't have problems with pigmentation!

Res sem vesela, da končno lahko vključim to paletko v eno izmed mojih objav. V zadnjem času sem prebrala dokaj veliko količino slabih ocen, ki so opisovale slabo pigmentacijo ipd. Sama imam s to paletko popolnoma drugačno izkušnjo. Pigmentacija je super, senčila se da krasno zabrisati. Ravno danes sem delala makeup na moji sestri in sem, da bi se še enkrat res prepričala, uporabila senčila iz te paletke. Končni izdelek (aka njene oči :))je bil super :). Tako dasame pohvale iz moje strani! :)

I couldn't pick just one so I included two different kinds of eyeliner. Both are by Catrice. The first one is Glam & Doll Super Black Liner and it is very very interesting. It has a shape of a tulip and that's what makes a very precise and easy application. The other one is Catrice's liquid liner. The tip of this eyeliner is super pointy and I can get a very sharp line with it. It stays on all day, doesn't fade but it's very easy to remove at night without rubbing your eyes.

Eyeliner je v mojem makeup look-u že od nekje 2. letnika srednje šole MUST! Ker se nisem mogla odločiti samo za enega, predstavljam dve opciji. Prva je Glam & Doll Super Black Liner, katerega priporočam začetnicam, saj je v obliki svinčnika kar je za večino lažje. Tudi oblika konice je izjemno zanimiva, saj ima obliko tulipana :) Drugi pa je, meni bolj pri srcu, Catriceov liquid liner, ki je pa povsem standardni eyeliner. S tem se da ustvarjati veliko tanjše in precizne črte, kar je zame velik plus:)

Last but not least is mascara. Girls this mascara is SO GOOD!!!Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara  gives my lashes extreme length and volume, basically false lash effect. This is such an excellent product and I love it to pieces!

Zadnja v sklopu oči je seveda maskara. Ta maskara je preprosto NORA!! Trepalnice res občutno podaljša in jim da volumen. Ta izdelek je res izjemen in vam ga toplo, toplo priporočam!

LIPS

This past summer was all about liquid lipsticks for me. After falling in love with Essence's liquid lipsticks I discovered Catrice's Shine Appeal Fluid Lipstick. I have it in three different colors but this one (in the picture below)is in Better make a Mauve and it's my absolute favourite! It's very shiny, glossy (but not sticky!) and the color itself is, in my opinion, the most perfect color that goes with every single makeup look you want to create!

To poletje sem odkrila tekoče šminke. Po Essencovih sem pokupila še polovico Catricovih :) Na sliki je Catrice's Shine Appeal Fluid Lipstick v barvi Better make a Mauve. Tekoča šminka je zelo sijoča, praktično kot gloss, kar pa je najpomembnejše ni lepljiva:). Odtenek Make a mauve je meni osebno najljubši saj je barva sama po sebi tako zelo naravna, da se jo da z lahkoto kombinirati z različnimi makeup videzi :)

Hello girls!

I'm very picky when it comes to my face makeup and usually when I discover something I really like I stick to it till the end.

And this is excatly what happened with these products :)

Conceal, don't feel...don't let them show!

These two are my all time favourites. I use Maybelline's fit me concealer everytime I wear makeup. I smooth it over foundation under the eye and blend it out toward the temple. Beside that I've been using it as an eye shadow base too - It blends smoothly, doesn't crease and holds my eyeshadow in
place for hours! I use it in colour Fair, nb. 15.

Catrice's concealer is just perfect choice for highlighting the top of cheekbones without having to layer other products on top. And the best thing about it is that it still looks super natural. Oh, not to forget it's waterproof, so it's going to last for hours without creasing!

Foundation is the key

Maybelline's fit me foundation...oh you girls...this foundation is amazing! It has really nice coverage, and it stays on my skin for a really long time. As far as blending goes it blends smoothly, fast and well.

What you should know before you get this foundation is:

this foundation will give you quite light coverage

the texture is kind of watery (which I actually love :))

It will give you dewy finish (another plus for all my dry skin fellows out there:))

If I feel like I have to set my liquid foundation I always use Rimmel's stay matte powder. I normally don't really have to set my foundation, since my skin is dry, but if I want a bit more coverage this is my go to product. What I like the most about it is that it doesn't give that powdery look we all hate, and for the price it works wonders :)
